This 53' trailer was hand painted for Odyssey, This was a outside job at the end of the year. So dew and cold were a factor. I started with making
patterns in the shop, then on with the lettering. First with Odyssey to give it more drying time, so I could add the shadow when dry. The same with the ship. Starting late mornings because of dew and ending early afternoons to give the paint time to dry before to night cold and dew set in, made for a long week.
These back drops and floor
coverings are used for Odyssey's performances. These words and
effects were added to the existing
back drops to help express the name
of the shows...
These sponsors were
added to both sides of the trailer,
and all are hand
painted.
